Egg donation is a voluntary and noble act of humanity performed by a healthy female, who decides to undergo a surgical procedure to produce and have her eggs picked up, to be used as donor eggs in the treatment of infertility in needy patients, by an authorized reproduction centre.
BabyQuest CryoBank seeks to address this need in Indian society, to provide quality donor egg samples for infertility treatment.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) guidelines have estimated that one in seven couples resorts to medical advice at some stage in their quest to start a family. According to World Health Organization (WHO)’s estimates, in approximately 50% of the cases, this infertility is due to the female partner. Female factor infertility can be due to various reasons, including malnutrition, uterus malformations, genetic factors, lifestyle related factors, polycystic ovarian syndrome and premature menopause among others.
Infertility specialists estimate that many of these cases can be resolved satisfactorily by the using donor eggs in the treatment of infertility. Therefore using good quality, rigorously tested and screened donor eggs becomes a viable option. Donor eggs are safe for IVF (in-vitro fertilization) treatments and also advanced treatments like ICSI (intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection) and IMSI (intra-cytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm
BabyQuest CryoBank encourages young, healthy women to come forward as egg donors and give the infertile couples a chance to start their own family. We at BabyQuest CryoBank ensure that quality egg donors are provided to doctors and clinicians for the treatment of their patients.

Fresh Egg Donors
At present, BabyQuest CryoBank caters to the fresh donor eggs demand in the infertility treatment. Our efforts are on-going to have a cryo-preserved egg bank on the same international standards as our sperm bank, but till such time we are conscious of the need in Indian society and are addressing the same through the introduction of suitable egg donors to respective clinics for sourcing donor eggs for treatment.
BabyQuest CryoBank follows certain selection criteria, prescribed by Indian and international guidelines, as well as our own pointers, where we consciously try to keep the physical and mental well-being of the donor in mind. You can visit our webpage on Selection Criteria to know more about the same.
